[It's been a week of difficult nights for Keith; the rational part of his brain is at odds with the what-if's and maybes. What if he's a bad guy after all? There's plenty he can improve on. If he's consistent, if he puts his free time to good use, surely any innate desire to betray his team -- or whatever, it'll dissipate.
That being said, being Galran isn't inherently bad. He knows it...but even so, there's a sense of guilt that comes with that revelation. Something he's fine with internalizing. Something that's manifested at approximately three-thirty (Altean time? Something that's still a mystery to him, for the most part.) in the morning every morning these past few days.
And every morning, as a result, he's found himself in the training area. Long before first call for breakfast, long before his alarm needlessly sounds. He's about to have his ass handed to him by that robo-trainer, but it relents in the nick of time, rendering it safe to crumple in a far corner of the room, panting on a knee.
Maybe he shouldn't fight the robot on suicide mode when everyone else is sound asleep. Taking a step back from where he's at now, that'd be entirely disappointing, though. Once he recovers, he'll try again -- maybe end on a more successful note.]
